What to do, where to go?

So, I got a permanent position working for Netwise Resources as an IT Consultant (Network Infrastructure System Engineer). This change put us in a position to look at replacing our apartment with a house. We need the space, and we certainly want to have some yard space for the dogs and kids. We want to have some dance space too.

US Open

The US Open Swing Dance Championships were great. Awesome event. Excellent performances, good social dancing (when we were awake... :) ). The US Open staff did a great job putting on the event, and for the first time, broadcast the event live on the internet as part of the video. We did interviews of many of the competitors, as well as streaming the competitions live. It was well watched, as the MC got comments from across the world telling us that they were watching.

Went to Disneyland on Monday night. Was cool, but smaller than Orlando.

Flew back on Tuesday, went through Atlanta - almost missed the connectingn flight to Indy because the ATL ground controllers couldn't find their rear end with both hands and a GPS - got in late Tuesday night. It was a good time, met some great people, some not so much. Am certain that Benji Schwimmer is .... well, Benji - Unique, and let's leave it at that. Highly recommend the Open to anyone that can make it.

I forgot to mention, we are expecting a little one sometime about April next year.

International Festival

The Indianapolis International Festival is this weekend. Juls is dancing with the Blue Fire Tribe a couple of times today. We will be there most of the afternoon. I'll try to get some pictures and put them up, but that means that I have to find the camera.

Plans and such

Welll, some of you know me, some of you don't, but whatever.

Got married this summer, graduated with my BSEE from Purdue. Working for now, but looking for a new job using the security clearance I got from AFROTC. Couldn't commission, but....at least I got the opportunity. Looking for jobs in CA, AZ, VA, similar places. Must need a security clearance, would like to find one that is in RF/IT systems. We'll see.

I am the engineer. My wife, Julie, is the artist. We both dance. Oh, my....
